Junior Derivatives Trading Specialist

Alkagesta Ltd was founded in Malta in 2018 and has now grown into a commodity-trading house operating globally. Alkagesta trades in petroleum products, petrochemicals, fertilizers and agricultural commodities.

We are looking for a Junior Derivates Trading Specialist to join our team in Malta.

You will:

Collaborate with senior team members to monitor and assess risk exposure related to derivates positions;
Assist in the execution of derivative transactions;
Keep abreast with market trends, economic indicators and regulatory changes;
Share insights and contribute to decison making;
Provide updates regardng market developments.

Qualifications

The person selected will have:

A degree in mathematics or physics, engineering/computer science or equivalent;
Strong qauntitative, analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to make fast decisions in a high-pressure environment;
Competititve drive and maturity to handle considerable responsibility.
