Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse staff, training, and performance evaluations.
Assign tasks to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal workflow.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Implement effective inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of stock to maintain quality and prevent damage.

Order Fulfillment:

Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to prioritize and expedite orders.
Monitor and improve order processing times to meet customer expectations.
Safety and Compliance:

Enforce compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, addressing any hazards or non-compliance issues.
Provide training to staff on safe handling, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
Warehouse Operations:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
Maintain and service warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure safe and efficient use.
Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Quality Control:

Ensure the accuracy and quality of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or defective goods.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of service and product integrity.
Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and maintain detailed records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order processing times, and staff performance.
Generate regular reports and provide insights to senior management on warehouse operations.
Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Customer Service:

Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to warehouse operations.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding order status and delivery schedules.
Strive to improve customer satisfaction through efficient and reliable warehouse practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
Able to use a Forklift
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
