Maintenance Technician

GMF Precast Ltd.

Servicing and on call maintenance within a precast factory, working in liaison with the production team to ensure the smooth running of the operation.

The prospective candidate will have the ability to:

- Work at all times in accordance with health and safety precautions and standards.
- Plan preventive maintenance activities
- Pre-empt breakdowns and implement corrective actions
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Take an analytical approach to resolving problems and issues.
- Fit into a multicultural team, and to effectively communicate with colleagues, management and external
service providers
- Work at heights above 2.5m
- Order spare parts and materials, maintain records control of stock.
- Maintain maintenance records and equipment log books.
- By exception, carry out tasks outside normal working hours to minimize production disruption.

Qualifications

- The role calls for at least 5 years experience in servicing heavy plant ideally within a manufacturing indutry.
- Technical institute diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge and practical experience of welding.
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Valid driver’s license.
