Cafe Manager

CAFE ELISE LIMITED

The Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our cafe. The duties and responsibilities include:
• Supervising, recruiting, and training staff
• Scheduling staff members and quickly locating replacements in case of sickness or absence
• Maintaining and monitoring inventories
• Listening to customers and resolving their complaints
• Planning, marketing, and executing special events/promotions in the café
• Managing the day-to-day food service operation
• Planning and supervising special functions, maintaining cash controls and payroll records, and overseeing the hiring of frontline team members
• Directing and training staff to provide scheduled retail services

Qualifications

Previous experience is a must
English speaking
Good communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative and flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
Must have own transport
Applicant must already be living in Malta or in another EU member state
