Warehouse Assistant

ESSE Ltd. on behalf of Evolve RS Group are currently seeking to recruit a Warehouse Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Department Manager. The incumbent will help in the daily operations of our growing warehouse team.

Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials;
- Preparing warehouse orders for delivery;
- Cleaning designated areas;
- Doing stock take;
- Transporting stock to and from warehouse;
- Engaging in any other task commensurate with the role.

The selected candidate would preferably have the following skills and abilities:
- Knowledge of gypsum, paint and flooring products;
- Use of paint machine;
- Preferably working experience in the sector;
- Sufficient experience and skill in operating a forklift truck and be of a confident nature;
- Candidate must have received formal operator refresher training within the last 8 months;
- Valid B driving licence - applicants having a valid C driving licence will be given preference;
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
- Good communication skills.
