He Ramp Team Leader (TLR) is an operator who, due to experience and professionalism
gained in the LUS job, before and after SRO, is trained and appointed by the Company to
carry out activities of responsibility and coordination of men and vehicles in airside. His main
function is to coordinate the work of the LUS and SRO engaged in the assistance of a
specific aircraft. He actively participates in all assistance operations including the conduct
of all simple, complex and special GSE, following the directives of the DSC and the Turn
Around Coordinator.
In particular, in addition to carrying out, if necessary, all the activities of the SRO,
? operationally coordinates the team assigned to him and verifies that the equipment and
means for the foreseen assistance operations are efficient and available on stand
before the aircraft arrives;
? arranges, where required, for the setting and verification of the automatic parking
guidance system (Aircraft docking Guidance System) before the aircraft reach the
stand;
? arranges, where necessary, for the positioning and removal of the Loading Bridge and
for the operation of the emergency vehicles;
? ensures that all inert cargo (load) handling operations are carried out in compliance
with the operating times and safety and security standards established by current
regulations, by the Carriers and by company operating procedures;
? ensures that all loading/unloading agents operating by the aircraft are provided with
and correctly wear the IPE provided by the Company;
? ensures the coordination of the operational activities by the aircraft, actively
participating himself, also through the use of the foreseen GSE, whether simple,
complex or special;
? receives the loading instructions (LIR) from the Turn Around Coordinator and
guarantees punctual and precise compliance with them during all phases of loading
the aircraft. At the end of the loading operations, return the LIR, duly completed and
signed, to the Turn Around Coordinator, confirming the disposition of the cargo inside
the holds;
? at the end of the assistance operations, guarantees the clearing of the stands, as well
as the positioning of the equipment and vehicles in the appropriate storage areas, and
the return or repositioning of the team under another assigned flight.
Where required it is the responsibility of the TLR or, where absent, of the RSO or Turn
Around Coordinator, suitably trained, to assist the aircraft in the entry/exit phases from the
stand by guiding the crew, using the appropriate ICAO signs (marshalling hand signals), up
to the point provided for parking on stand.
Upon arrival at the stand and before the arrival of the A/C on stand, it is the marshaller's
responsibility to verify that all the necessary conditions exist to begin the maneuver in total
safety (stand free from FOD, obstacles or any equipment that may represent an obstacle or
a potential danger), including deciding if it is necessary to use wingwalkers to support the
manoeuvre.

Availability to work on alternating shifts on 24h rotation
EU Driving License (B – D)
English proficiency in written and spoken (liv B2)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Clean code of conduct (no criminal records)
