We are looking for an Restaurant Prep Cook with a passion for hospitality and a drive for excellence to oversee and operate our well-established and highly-acclaimed restaurant, TORO TORO at Mercury Tower by Zaha Hadid Architects.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Waiter specializing in Latinoamerican cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Restaurant Prep Cook focusing on Latinoamerican Specialty Cuisine, you will play a pivotal role in delivering authentic flavors and exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
REQUIREMENT:
*Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
*Assist in the preparation of various dishes, such as soups, salads, appetizers, and entrees.
*Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately to maintain consistency in food quality.
*Stock and organize kitchen inventory, including food, utensils, and equipment
*Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas.
*Handle and store food products in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
*Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
*Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service hours.
*Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
*Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management.
Qualifications
REQUERIMENTS:
*Proven experience as a prep cook or kitchen assistant in a restaurant or similar setting.
*Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
*Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
*Culinary training or certification is a plus, but not required.
