Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook à la carte dishes to the highest standard, following the restaurant’s recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Specialize in traditional Maltese and Mediterranean cuisine, incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain smooth service during busy periods.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure proper storage of ingredients, and minimize waste.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
? Minimum 2 years of experience as an À La Carte Chef, preferably in Mediterranean or Maltese cuisine.
? Strong understanding of traditional and modern Mediterranean flavors and cooking techniques.
? Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
? Strong teamwork and communication skills.
? Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
