Position Summary?



We are seeking to recruit a technician within our injection moulding department. This role requires a person who is technically capable, enjoys working with machines, and who is driven to find solutions. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work in an organised, modern, spacious, and creative environment, to be learning continuously, and to work with a highly technical team.



Key Responsibilities?



Conducting routine inspections on machinery and equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues.

Performing preventive maintenance.

Diagnosing equipment failure.

Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.

Take the initiative to anticipate, lead and resolve issues autonomously.

Identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Requirements?



Experience working with manufacturing equipment.

Experience performing routine maintenance.

Skilled in the use of hand / power tools.

Ability to take apart machinery, replace defective parts and refit systematically.

Ability to interpret repair manuals / wiring diagrams.

Have good time management, organisational and follow-up skills.

Experience with injection moulding machines would be considered an asset.

A person who is willing to learn.
