Boat Attendant

We are seeking a responsible, trustworthy, and experienced Boat Attendant to assist with the upkeep, preparation, and day-to-day operations aboard a leisure vessel berthed at Marina di Valletta.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for the sea, a strong work ethic, and solid practical seamanship skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the vessel remains in excellent condition and is always ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

- Routine cleaning and detailing of the boat, both interior and exterior
- Monitoring and reporting on the condition of equipment and systems
- Handling refuelling, waste disposal, and provisioning
- Line handling during berthing and departure
- Assisting during day trips or short cruises, as required
- Ensuring safety equipment is regularly checked and properly stored
- Coordinating with marina staff and service providers for maintenance tasks

Qualifications

- Previous experience working aboard boats or yachts
- Strong seamanship and docking skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability, including weekends or public holidays
- Familiarity with Maltese coastal waters is considered an asset
- Valid STCW or relevant maritime certification is a plus
- Good spoken English.
