The Butcher Assistant supports the butcher in the preparation, cutting, and packaging of meat products. Responsibilities include helping with meat processing tasks, weighing and labeling products, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of work areas, and handling tools and equipment safely. The role also involves assisting customers with basic inquiries and ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed

Qualifications

Previous experience in a food or meat-handling environment is an asset

Good hygiene and awareness of food safety standards

Willingness to learn and take direction

Physical stamina and attention to detail

Basic understanding of English
