Are you passionate about global markets, commodities, and maritime trade? We are a well-established international shipping company based in Malta seeking a Junior Derivatives Trading Specialist to support our growing trading desk. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, a keen interest in derivatives, and fluency in English, Russian, and Azerbaijani.

?? Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution and monitoring of derivatives trades (freight and other commodities).

Analyse market trends, price movements, and risk exposures.

Prepare daily P&L reports, position tracking, and risk analysis.

Support senior traders with trade strategy development and market research.

Communicate with brokers, counterparties, and internal departments.

Maintain trade documentation in line with compliance standards.

Qualifications

? Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.

Fluency in English, Russian, and Azerbaijani (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Basic understanding of derivatives and commodity markets.

High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Proficient in Excel; familiarity with trading platforms is a plus.

EU work permit or eligibility to work in Malta is preferred.
