Smart Materials Ltd is a new, exciting, R&D company, developing a novel, patented production method to synthesis polyurethane (PU) material with Auxetic properties. Polyurethane foam is one of the most widespread, modern day materials. It is used in practically every application when cushioning, impact reduction, filtering, sound absorption, vibration absorption is needed. It has also seen more uptake in recent years since there is an industrial and social drive towards light weighting and space reduction solutions. Auxetic Foam is a revolutionary foam which was discovered around 30 years ago but due to technical hurdles it has never been produced in volumes large enough to be applicable for industry or commercially viable. Auxetic foam has been shown numerous times to be able to combine a large number of beneficial properties in one material, including Improved; impact reduction, weight distribution, sound absorption and filtration efficiency. Smart Materials Ltd. has a method which can be scaled to provide the volumes required to produce Auxetic foam at the cost of normal foam while having far superior properties Smart Materials Ltd aims to use its new production method to disrupt a dormant and incumbent $50B Market. Key Responsibilities


Safely handle, load, and deliver products (e.g., mattresses/foam products) to customers.
Physically manage stock and materials (lifting up to 20–25 kg comfortably).
Support the production team with day-to-day tasks, including machine operation, assembly, and packaging.
Assist engineers and technicians with equipment setup, running processes, and workshop support.
Purchase consumables, raw materials, and tools as required, following company procedures.
Maintain stock levels and keep production supplies organized.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace.
Represent the company professionally when making deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license
Physically capable – fit, strong, and able to handle regular lifting/moving tasks.
Reliable and punctual – committed to schedules and deadlines.
Good communication skills – presentable and professional with colleagues and customers.
Flexible and adaptable – happy to switch between delivery, production, purchasing, and support tasks.
Hands-on and practical – comfortable with basic tools; any mechanical/electrical skills are a plus.
Tech-comfortable – able to use email, spreadsheets, or simple systems to track purchases and stock.
Team player – cooperative and ready to support both production and R&D teams.
