We are seeking a skilled and creative WordPress Developer to design, implement, and maintain websites and web applications using the WordPress platform. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize and optimize existing WordPress websites for performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement site features and updates.
• Ensure website responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress.
• Maintain best practices in coding, version control, and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and security practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Experience with website performance optimization (caching, CDN, image optimization).
• Understanding of web security practices.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and headless WordPress setups.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design tools.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
