Part-Time Domestic Assistant – Zejtun (10–12 hrs/week, €10/hr)

We are seeking a reliable, organised, and experienced Domestic Assistant to support the cleaning and general upkeep of a two-bedroom maisonette in Zejtun. The role is part-time, approximately 10–12 hours per week at €10 per hour, ideally carried out in the morning hours. Work is required 2–3 times per week, with the possibility of additional hours for occasional deeper cleaning.

Cleaning & Home Upkeep

• Sweeping and mopping all internal floors and yards.
• Dusting and wiping surfaces, furniture, shelves, and fixtures.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and tiles.
• Cleaning internal windows and apertures (external areas only where safely accessible).
• Emptying bins and maintaining general household order.


Laundry & Clothing Care

• Washing, drying, folding, and organising clothes and household linens.
• Ironing clothing items as required (excluding bedding).


Meal Preparation (Preparation of a 5-Day Meal Plan)

• Preparing simple, healthy meals according to instructions.
• Washing, chopping, and organising ingredients.
• Cleaning the kitchen after meal preparation.
• Storing food safely and labelling meals when needed.
Note: This refers to preparing a 5-day meal plan, not attending the residence five days a week.

Requirements

• Previous experience in domestic cleaning and household assistance is essential.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and attentive to detail.
