A live in newborn nanny is required to support an international household based in Malta. The ideal candidate will be experienced, gentle, and confident in caring for newborns, with the flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to different environments and routines. This is a full time, live in position offering stability and a warm home environment.
• Provide attentive, nurturing, and consistent care for a newborn
• Support feeding routines, including bottle preparation, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with breastfeeding if required
• Help establish healthy sleep patterns and soothing techniques
• Manage nappy changes, bathing, and overall newborn hygiene
• Maintain a calm, clean, and organized environment for the baby
• Monitor the baby’s behavior, feeding, and sleep, and communicate updates clearly
• Assist with light household tasks related to the baby (laundry, tidying nursery, etc.)
• Travel frequently with the family, ensuring the baby’s routine and comfort are maintained
• Adapt smoothly to different cultural settings and household environments

Qualifications

• Proven experience caring for newborns (experience in Malta is an advantage)
• Comfortable working in a multicultural household
• Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently
• Warm, patient, and reliable personality
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism
• Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Malta
• Infant first aid or CPR knowledge is considered an asset
• Willingness to live full-time and integrate into the household
