Operate excavators to carry out digging, trenching, earthmoving and site preparation.
Load and move soil, rubble and other construction materials.
Follow site plans and instructions from the site supervisor.
Carry out daily equipment checks and report faults or maintenance needs.
Work safely around underground services, nearby structures and other workers.
Keep the machine clean and follow site health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience operating excavators on construction sites.
Ability to operate machinery safely and accurately.
Knowledge of excavation, trenching and earthmoving tasks.
Ability to understand site instructions and communicate in basic English.
Relevant machinery training or certification would be an asset.
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
