We are seeking a motivated, practical and experienced **Assistant Project Manager** to assist in the day-to-day management and coordination of an ongoing shopping mall construction and finishing project.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and must be capable of handling day-to-day site activities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction and finishing works on site.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and different trades.
- Monitor progress against project deadlines and schedules.
- Identify site issues, delays and clashes, and assist in resolving them.
- Follow up on outstanding works, deliveries and contractor commitments.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Assist with site inspections, measurements and snagging.

Minimum Requirements
- **At least 2 years of practical experience on active construction sites – essential.**
- Good understanding of construction methods, finishing works and site coordination.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Experience dealing directly with contractors and tradespeople.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage priorities.
- Good command of English.
- **Legally eligible to work in Malta.**
- **Available to start immediately or at short notice.**

Experience in commercial developments, retail projects, finishing works, MEP coordination or fast-track construction projects will be considered an advantage.

**Important:** This is a hands-on, site-based position, not an office-based administrative role. Applicants must already possess practical construction-site experience.
