Under the general guidance and supervision of the Head Chef, the CDP will assist in the preparation and service of all sections in the CPU kitchen.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Working with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to maintain and monitor high Company standards with regards to the quality of food in its preparation and presentation.
• In charge of a designated section and a team of Chefs and Kitchen Helpers. To assist in their training as necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with all food safety standards, and related Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Company policies.
• Ensuring CPU kitchen area is left clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensuring that all completed food is correctly wrapped and labelled. To ensure that food is put in out-fridge prior to events.
• To ensure that all completed jobs are fully checked off before they leave the unit.
• Any other duties which may crop up from time to time due to the exigencies of the operations, linked to the duties above.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
