Senior Accounts Clerk

A group of companies, with a focus on Fashion and representing a number of well known international brands, is seeking to employ a Senior Accounts Clerk to assist the Accounts department and support the Finance Manager.

Main responsibilities include bank reconciliations, updating accounting records, posting supplier invoices, VAT Returns, and general accounts responsibilities.

This position is offered on a Full Time basis, and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your Accounts skills and take on more responsibilities.

Qualifications

> At least 1 to 2 years in an Accounts role
> Highly knowledgeable with bank reconciliations, invoice processing, supplier payments and ideally VAT returns
> Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads
> Excellent attention to detail
> Flexible, hard working and self motivated
> Fluent in Maltese and English
> High level of competence with MS Excel, and ideally Quickbooks Accounting software

Applicants should possess at least an O-level in Accounts or AAT Diploma, or ideally an A-level, and be looking to develop their studies and career in Accounts.
Experience or knowledge of Quickbooks Accounting software would be considered an asset.
Fluency in both Maltese and English is a requirement.
