Digital Marketing Assistant

PKF Malta is seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our ever-growing team.

• Develop integrated marketing campaigns.
• liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
• sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press or other marketing platforms;
• managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, eNewsletters;
• writing and proofreading copy; liaising with designers and printers;
• maintaining and updating customer databases;
• organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions; sourcing and securing sponsorship;
• conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups;
• contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies; evaluating marketing campaigns; monitoring competitor activity; Supporting the marketing team and other colleagues.
• Responsible to support the development, planning and realisation of the local communication and marketing campaigns. Organise international events.
• Coordinating firm participation in conferences locally and internationally, assisting with preparation of material for speaker positions, stands exhibitions, compilation of power point presentations, negotiating sponsorship packages, assisting partners with travel arrangements;
• Assisting with various research projects and report-writing;
• Attending meetings, representing the firm at conferences, summits and other events of national calibre; Handling the firm’s marketing internally and media purchases externally such as within newspaper and journal publications;
• Assisting in the investigation activities that the firm chooses to conduct with the intention of making a discovery that can either lead to the development of new services or procedures, or to the improvement of existing services or procedures for future growth. Liaising with clients via email and telephone correspondence;
• Developing an understanding of the client’s business, and becoming a “functional expert” in the area;
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and their effects on client competitive position and distribution channels;
• Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase the level and types of services to clients;
• Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate.


• 2 or 3 years experience in a similar field
• Must have a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign with a proven portfolio. Other marketing programs required: SurveyMonkey, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress, Canva, YouTube, Video editing, Content creation/writing, Instagram, Issuu
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to make perform tasks related to booking of travel & logistics
• Excellent command of English language with Content creation/writing skills
• Maltese language is a must.
• Marketing Degree or equivalent.
• Must be locally based.
• Must have a driving license and drive own car
