Machine Technician/Setter

Responsibilities
- Liaising with the maintenance administrator, the chosen candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and setting of all manufacturing equipment and maintain the required standards in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot machine issues, perform repairs, and resolve day to day equipment issues.
- Responsible for putting safety first with an aspirational goal to prevent all injuries, occupational illnesses, and safety incidents.
- Performing preventive maintenance on plant and production machinery according to schedules.
- Preparing all necessary documentation at the highest standards, including safety documentation and housekeeping documentation.
- Participating in the design, procurement, training and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Work and interact effectively in a team environment.
- Work with limited supervision.
- Performing all of the above at maximum effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications

?Skills:
- Skill in analyzing and troubleshooting problems with equipment, identifying solutions, recommending and implementing methods, procedures, and/or techniques for resolution.
- Excellent communication skills and a good command of Maltese and English, both orally and in writing.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to take initiative and work in a logical manner.
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
