Grill Chef

To perform activities outlined in the Lore & Fitch performance description, including:
- Knowledge on how to operate the grill and grilling techniques
- Operate the department according to strict merchandising and operational standards
- Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department
- Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards
- Maintain required product information log sheets as necessary
- Perform light meat cutting duties as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management /head chef
Qualifications
Main Qualifications:
- 4 years experience as a Grill Chef
- English and Italian speaking
- Previous meat cutting/trimming experience
- Previous Culinary knowledge and/or background preferred
Other Qualifications:
- Friendly, energetic and outgoing personality
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, simultaneously
- Ability to work well with others
- Knowledge of deli as well as meat department operations
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Effective communication, guest service and selling skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with, and take direction from supervision
