Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanics

Due to restructuring and expanding business growth Green Skip Services requires 2 heavy duty vehicle mechanics.

Applicants will be required to work on a variety of vehicles mainly skip loaders, RCV and vans and will also be responsible to maintain and repair faults on new and existing vehicles.

Main duties will include:

Planned maintenance and repair of all vehicles in the fleet .

Assist in the daily repairs and faults as may be required.

Attend to on the road emergencies and any off site call outs when necessary.

Keep maintenance records / history for all vehicles .

Ready to work hands on with the garage team to attain required work results.

Qualifications

Candidates applying for the job will hold a MQF Level/ VET Level of education, coupled with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the automotive industry.

Candidates are expected to be flexible, organized and adaptable with a positive energetic attitude
Can manage stressful situations, work with minimal supervision and have excellent problem solving skills .
A good team player with a can do attitude is essential for this position.
