Assistant Operations Manager

We are looking for a professional Operations Manager assistant to coordinate teams in working on Cable laying ,Fibre to the home and fibre termination.
The Operations Manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization.
The specific duties of an Operations Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of client service and implement best practices across all levels.
Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Ordering of materials, maintain inventory warehouse efficiency
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Manage forecasts
Perform quality controls and monitor works
Find ways to increase quality of customer service

Qualifications

Requirements
Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent communication skills
Leadership ability
Outstanding organisational skills
Preferably ideal candidate
The successful candidate should have:

The ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in Maltese and English, knowledge of Microsoft excel and Microsoft office.
A good understanding of works procedures and practices is required, previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
Whilst being well self-motivated and efficient, the selected candidate must be able to work both individually and within a team with minimal supervision.
Undergraduate degree level of education in a relevant field would be considered an asset.
