Hand-painted wall masks, popular home decor items 1920’s for sale
They depict characters from the Commedia dell'arte, classic theatrical archetypes:
• Pierrot: The figure with the white face, sad eyes, and large ruffled collar (the "ruff").
• Harlequin: The character wearing the black "half-mask" over the eyes.
• Spanish/Venetian Figures: The other heads represent stylized courtly or period characters, such as a Matador (red cape) or a Dama (noble lady).
These are for sale as a set of 4
Two are in excellent condition while the other two have slight blemish which can be fixed.
