Petter PA1 5HP 1950.
This engine is earlier than the Peter A1; I didn't find the model plate on it. For me, it is a heavy-duty Petter 5HP of 1950, petrol/paraffin, 4-stroke, side-valve, single-cylinder, air-cooled, with governor, impulse magneto, valve lifter, hand-crank start, forced oil lubrication, and vee pulley for power take-off. It runs better on paraffin, and it revs up super, without pinking. Years ago, this Petter was on a 20-foot fishing boat, on a load and with a silencer, it ran perfectly on paraffin.
