🔧 Vessels operating in European and Mediterranean waters are required by maritime law to carry a sound signalling device. This anodized aluminium gas fog horn produces a loud, clear acoustic signal (approximately 120 decibels) audible from up to 1 nautical mile away, making it the simplest way to comply with SOLAS and UE 517/2014 equipment regulations.
Unlike older flammable gas horns, this model uses non-flammable propellant, making it safer to store and handle onboard. The ABS plastic horn attachment clicks securely onto the pressurised canister, creating a weatherproof connection suitable for deck or cabin use.
Each 100-gram canister provides approximately 60 to 80 individual blasts depending on activation duration and ambient temperature.
