We use 3 (2 abroad, and 1 locally). 1 lasted us for about 5 years until it got damaged from direct rain/snow/sun, the other one abroad is about 7+ years and still works as new without direct rain/snow, yet with temperatures of -20° to +40°. So if you attach the button on a place where rain won't access it, it'll probably last you about 10+ years or way more than that. The one locally has been installed 6 years ago, and still works as new.
