Cylindrical Albarello. Caltagirone. First half of 18th century. Height 20 cm, bocca 40.5 cm, aperture 13 cm, Base 10 cm. Cylindrical slightly waisted vessel. Circular aperture on short neck. Prominent circular base. Chromatic scheme blue graffito painted in giallo ferricia, copper green and Manganese brown. A decorative scheme covers the entire surface of the artifect. The painted motifs include foliage with 2 daises and close buds. Such polychrome is directly debted to venetian 16th century maiolica.
