Anthony Eden ( 1897 - 1977 ) was Conservative British Prime Minister between 1955 and 1957. This book, Full Circle, chronicles his memoirs.

There is an extensive treatment of the political turmoil in Malta of the period he was Prime Minister. He had succeeded Winston Churchill as premier in 1955 but was himself succeeded by Harold Macmillan in 1957 in the throes of the Suez Canal crisis.In fact Sir Anthony's career as a politician was indelibly linked with his handling of the Suez Crisis and his fall from grace coincided with the failure of the same operation.
