We are looking for a Restaurant Purchase Manager with a passion for hospitality and a drive for excellence to oversee and operate our well-established and highly-acclaimed restaurant TORO TORO in Malta.

Our dynamic dining establishment is on the lookout for a seasoned, detail-oriented
Restaurant Purchase Manager to lead our procurement efforts. This pivotal role is at the
heart of our restaurant's operational excellence, tasked with overseeing the procurement
processes, optimizing inventory levels, and nurturing pivotal relationships with vendors
and suppliers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational
acumen, masterful negotiation skills, and a profound understanding of inventory
management practices, all aimed at bolstering our restaurant's efficiency and quality of
service.

***Responsibilities***

-Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Partnership Development: Strategically identify and
engage with key suppliers and vendors to build long-lasting partnerships, ensuring a
reliable supply chain and access to premium quality products.

-Comprehensive Procurement Strategy Formulation: Craft and execute a robust
purchasing strategy that aligns with the restaurant's financial goals and operational needs,
incorporating sustainability practices to support eco-friendly dining experiences.

-Advanced Inventory Optimization Techniques: Utilize cutting-edge inventory management
methodologies to forecast precise demand, reducing the risk of overstocking or stockouts
and ensuring an agile response to market dynamics.

-Product Quality Enhancement Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives to enhance product quality
through meticulous vendor selection and rigorous quality control processes, thereby
elevating the dining experience for our guests.

-Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement: Implement innovative cost-saving measures
without compromising on quality or service, leveraging economies of scale and negotiating
the best possible terms with suppliers.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster a collaborative
environment by liaising with culinary, operational, and financial teams to align
procurement strategies with the restaurant's menu planning, seasonal promotions, and
special events

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain
Management, or a closely related field is highly preferred.

-Demonstrable track record of success in procurement,
purchasing, or supply chain management within the restaurant, hospitality, or related
industries.

-Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure
advantageous terms and foster mutually beneficial supplier relationships.

-Strong analytical skills coupled with strategic thinking
abilities, capable of making data-driven decisions and identifying trends and opportunities
in the procurement landscape.

-Proficiency in modern inventory management software
(HIOPOS), procurement platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, with a keenness to adopt
and leverage new technologies.

-Outstanding communication and interpersonal
abilities, with the knack for building rapport with team members, suppliers, and crossfunctional partners

-Resilience in high-pressure situations, with the
agility to adapt to changing market conditions and operational demands.

-Proven leadership skills with experience in managing
and developing a team, fostering an environment of accountability, collaboration, and
continuous improvement.

-Familiarity with the regulations and compliance standards
pertinent to procurement and inventory management in the food and hospitality industry.
