Cashier/Procurement Assistant

We are looking for a Cashier/Procurement Assistant.

Responsibilities:

Cashier Duties:

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring correct change is given.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service, answering inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
Maintained a clean and organized checkout area, stocking merchandise and ensuring appealing displays. Collaborate with the Kitchen team to promote special offers and upsell products when appropriate.

Procurement Responsibilities:

Monitor inventory levels and anticipate stock needs based on sales trends and upcoming promotions.
Assist in procurement, including placing orders with suppliers and tracking supply.
Work closely with vendors to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement process.

Qualifications

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent and additional education.
Prior experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles.
Numerical solid aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
