TORO TORO RESTAURANT LTD is a steakhouse restaurant and represents Latin American culinary diversity in the hospitality industry.

We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and organized individual to join our team as a Restaurant Host / Hostess. The Restaurant Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience from the moment guests enter the restaurant. The ideal candidate should
possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask effectively, have a warm and welcoming demeanor and a genuine smile to receive at all our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escort them to their tables.
*Answer phone calls and make reservations.
*Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
*Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand and lobby area.
*Assist with other tasks as needed, such as taking to-go orders or processing payments.
*First eye contact with the guest and a genuine smile
*Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
*Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are seated comfortably.
*Manage the waitlist during busy periods, accurately estimating wait times, and effectively
communicating with guests.
*Maintain cleanliness and organization at the hostess stand and entrance area.
*Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and inquiries.
*Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests.
*Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials and promotions.
*Monitor the dining area to ensure guest needs are met and address any concerns or
issues promptly.
*Assist in maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere in the restaurant.
*Collaborate with other team members to uphold restaurant policies and standards.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

*Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
*Professional appearance and demeanor.
*Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
*Knowledge of basic computer skills and reservation systems is a plus.
*A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining
experiences.
