The job requires that the employee does all that is necessary for the smooth running of the pharmacy and the services the pharmacy offers. Thus the job involves cleaning of shelves, shop window and floor as necessary, pricing of products, placing products in their place on shelves etc, stock rotation and checking expiry dates, inputting invoices in the computer system, filing of papers, updating registers, managing the POYC system, dispensing POYC medicines, dispensing OTC and POM preparations, sale of products, promotion of products and services, gift wrapping, booking appointments for the doctors and specialists attending at the pharmacy, assisting the specialists if and as necessary, performing basic tests like blood pressure, blood glucose, skin tests, weight monitoring etc, doing medicines use reviews, attending training, seminars, talks and conferences related to work, actively participating in any work or ongoing projects within the pharmacy and any projects in which the pharmacy is involved.
