Data Analyst and Research Specialist (Bilingual)

As a service provider with a focus on data, analysis and reporting solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst and Research Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proficiency in data analysis, research, and statistics, and be fluent in both Portuguese and English.
This role requires excellent negotiation skills, with experience in the field of Psychology being an added advantage. The position will involve travel, offering the opportunity to work in diverse environments and collaborate with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support research projects and organizational decision-making.
• Design, implement, and interpret statistical models and research methodologies to gather and analyze data.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and summaries of research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research needs, develop research plans, and execute projects.
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to manage relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and research participants.
• Apply psychological principles where relevant to enhance the quality and depth of research.
• Communicate effectively in both Portuguese and English, ensuring clarity and precision in all documentation and interactions.
• Travel as required to participate in field research, attend conferences, and meet with international partners.

Qualifications:
• A degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, or a related discipline (mandatory).
• Proven experience in data analysis, research, and statistics (mandatory).
• Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and manage relationships effectively.
• Experience or academic background in Psychology is highly appreciated.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required by the role.

Desired Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python).
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
