BMS Technician

• Actively participate in BMS projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Install, program and troubleshoot BMS-related hardware and software components based on predefined points lists, wiring diagrams and customer requirements
• Commissioning and testing BMS software and devices, on-site and remotely
• Periodic Preventive maintenance troubleshooting of BMS installations
• Design, assemble and test control panels, ensuring they are correctly wired, operational, and compliant with safety standards.
• Integrate BMS and REMS with IT infrastructure by configuring network settings and Industry-standard communication protocols like BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP.
Qualifications
• Higher Diploma (MQF level 5) in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Controls or equivalent
• Three years of work experience in a similar field;
• Familiarity with various BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Distech) and protocols like BACnet, Modbus and DALI.
• Good ICT skills, being comfortable working with applications such as MS Office and others
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for control panels.
• Have good written and verbal skills in English. Fluency in Maltese is considered a plus.
• Hold a valid local driving licence
• Post may require on-call duties and out-of-office hours support.
