We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of our night club. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of the club during night shifts, ensuring high standards of service, customer satisfaction, and safety. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing customer interactions, and addressing any issues that arise, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the nightly operations of the club, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Monitor club activities, including entry management, security, bar operations, and guest services.
Ensure proper functioning of all equipment, lighting, and sound systems during the shift.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for any on-the-spot repairs or emergencies.
Staff Supervision:
Lead and manage all night staff, including bartenders, and cleaners.
Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure all team members provide exceptional customer service.
Conduct briefings before shifts to communicate key objectives and any event-specific requirements.
Handle scheduling issues and assist with staff training and development as required.
Customer Experience:
Address customer complaints, concerns, or incidents in a professional and timely manner, ensuring positive resolutions.
Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests while upholding house rules.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the night.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff by coordinating closely with the security team.
Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
Manage crowd control, capacity limits, and prevent disruptive or unlawful behavior.
Handle emergency situations, such as first aid needs or evacuations, according to established procedures.
Cash and Inventory Management:
Oversee cash handling and reconcile daily sales reports from the bar and ticketing.
Ensure proper stock levels are maintained for bar inventory and coordinate with the purchasing team for replenishments.
Monitor waste and theft prevention practices to minimize losses.
Reporting and Feedback:
Report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues to the General Manager.
Provide daily operational reports and feedback to management, including suggestions for improvement.
Stay informed on current trends and customer preferences to enhance club offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Duty Manager, Shift Manager, or a similar role
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle guest relations and conflict resolution.
Ability to work long night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and venue security practices.
Basic financial acumen for cash management and inventory control.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
