- Respond to guest inquiries about the bar menu, providing recommendations, and ensuring guests feel valued.
- Handle guest complaints in a courteous and efficient manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and recipes.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Ensure the consistent quality and presentation of drinks.
- Keep bar fully stocked, including garnishes, glassware, and ice, to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory of all bar supplies.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Operate the bar POS system accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded and balanced at the end of each shift.
- Clean bar surfaces, glassware, utensils, and equipment regularly to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications
