Our company is currently in need of the below positions:

* Kitchen Porter

Responsibilities:

To keep kitchen clean and tidy at all time.
Washing dishes.
Washing, cutting, peeling of vegetables and assisting with preparation of meat or fish.
Team player.

*Commis chef

We are currently in need of 3 types of Commis chef:

1. Indian cuisine
2. Chinese cuisine
3. Italian, French, European cuisine

Responsibilities:

Measuring meal ingredients accurately for the chef de partie.
Preparing meals by washing, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables and seasoning different kinds of meat.
Preparing basic salads and sauces for meals, as directed by the chef de partie.
Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items are received and are good quality.
Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor when stock is low.
Disposing of the expired and spoiled food items stored in stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
Cleaning and ensuring that all the work stations are organized and properly sanitized.
Preparing all the meal items to be presentable as instructed by the chef de partie.
It is crucial to be a good team player and well organised.

Chef de partie:

Being familiar with all food items on the menu and new products on the market.
Follow standard recipes and minimise waste to help ensure that the food cost is in line with budget.
Ensuring all dishes are correctly presented and garnished before being sent for service.
Ensuring hygiene and sanitation are strictly observed and that equipment and utensils are handles, maintained and used correctly.
Establishing a rapport with guests, providing guest recognition and good customer relationships.

Qualifications

For each position we require minimum of 2 years of experience in same role.
Applicants should be in possession of Skill pass phase 1 at least.
