MAIN DUTIES
• Responsible for the shop daily duties to be performed by Sales Assistants.
• To meet all work deadlines as instructed by his/her direct superior.
• To ensure and maintain a consistent and positive customer service.
• To deal with customer complaints effectively and efficiently.
• To help customers choose products with the aim of encouraging them to buy, to upsell and to return to buy in the future.
• To advise customers on how to use and care for products.
• To be responsible for the area designated to them by the Assistant Branch Manager/ Branch Manager.
• To package goods for customers in a professional manner.
• To operate electronic point of sale equipment and accept payment.
• To ensure that all the items in stock are well priced and organised.
• To participate in stocktaking whenever necessary.
• To ensure that a handover is given when not on duty.
• To perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
• Ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Time Management
• Knowledge of Policies and Procedures
• Written communication in English Language
• Able to work on own initiative and without supervision
• Previous experience in a similar role or related qualification
• Computer literate
• Good knowledge of spoken/written English
