Service Technician

The company is seeking to recruit a number of Service Technicians to work on day basis within our Company.

The main tasks, amongst others, include:

- Leads and motivates a group of employees
- Liaises with suppliers, learns new processes and commissions new and /or relocating of machines and equipment
- Conducts trial runs to identify best setting on equipment to allow for the best combination between Quality, Productivity and minimum Left-over
- Orders jigs / moulds / tools from Mould Shop and  carries out trials on prototype before releasing to production
- Analyses/identifies performance problems, defines training needs, designs and plans training, provides training, certifies and evaluates training outcomes and monitors performance
- Provides training to production personnel, and certifies production personnel to operate machinery, and equipment in production
- Provides timely process support to ensure smooth production output
- Performs trials to modify and/or develop existent and/or new processes/products, and documents outcomes to ensure replication of processes within a production environment and at a production scale
- Creating and conducting preventive maintenance working instructions
- Identifying machinery parts that are prone to wear and tear and liaise with the Engineering Section
- Issuing of requests for spare parts

Qualifications

Applicants for this position should:

- Possess a relevant technical certification at minimum MQF Level 4.
- Have a good command of the English language.
- Have good knowledge of production application software / MS Applications.
- Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Be able to work in a team and lead a number of employees as required.
- Have good problem solving skills and able to make quick decisions.
- Have good organizational and communication skills.
- Have good analytical fault finding and technical skills.
