Storekeeper & stagehand Assistant

You will be assisting in our rental department in the store as well as on site during events. Setting up equipment related to Sound, lighting , stages & trussing for professional events.

We will provide training so that you familiarize with our stock and monitor stock take with our online system.

If you are motivated to work and are good problem solver then this is the job for you.

Individual must be fluent in English. Understanding Maltese is a plus.
Driving License is compulsory.

Working days vary weekly from Monday to Sunday with a roster laid out in advance with appropriate rest.
Most shifts will be in the morning to early afternoon but night shifts and weekend shifts are very common and compulsory to work with us.
From Friday till Sunday you will be required to be available both during the day and at night when it is needed and with prior notice.

We will guarantee you a minimum of 40 hours a week but overtime will be compulsory and with an adjusted pay.

Qualifications

A valid driving license for malta is a must. If you have international license valid for at least another 6 months it is also accepted.

Having experience in any ONE OR MORE of the following is a plus but not compulsory, as it will make training easier which will make you a more suitable candidate for the job:

- Easily Identify Audio cables and adapters
- Easily identify Lighting DMX cables and adapters
- Speaker Power and Impedance Matching
- (DSP) Digital Signal Processor Management
- Setting up stages safely
- Setting up trussing structures safely
- Handling hand tools & power tools
- Cable soldering
- Handling of professional Lighting
- Handling of lasers & special effects
- DMX programming of pro. Lighting
- Handling of Televisions & Projectors
- Installing outdoor video walls
- Use of HDMI over Ethernet components
- DJing Experience
