Here’s What You Will Be Doing:
• General Accounting: Handling daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Managing and processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that invoices are accurate and paid on time.
• Bank Reconciliation: Performing monthly reconciliations of bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• VAT Returns: Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Audit Assistance: Coordinating with auditors during audits and providing necessary documentation.
• Expense Monitoring: Ensuring proper documentation and approval for all company expenditures.
• Payroll Assistance: Supporting payroll processes and employee benefits administration.

Qualifications
What Skills do you need?
• Qualifications: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably in a similar environment.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and local tax regulations in Malta.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling financial data and reconciling accounts.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Maltese is a plus).
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and address financial issues.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with various departments
