• Operate the machines during packing and/or manufacturing
• Manually feed raw material to the machines
• Lifting and carrying raw materials bags/boxes that vary in weight between 5 kilos and 30 kilos
• Ensure that the machines operate at full capacity
• Perform timely quality checks- less grammage, wrong labelling, wrong packaged box, difference in colour of product etc…
• Control and adjust machine settings (such as speed)
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Maintain the machines and work area clean
• Ensure the cleanliness of all areas including maintaining passageways clear from boxes and clearing any other objects that obstruct the passageways
• Keeping storage areas in strict compliance with hygiene regulations
• Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food items
