GENERAL MAINTENANCE

• To liaise with the Maintenance Manager regarding work orders in and prioritize in order of guest satisfaction
• Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard
• To daily inspect and rectify of all public areas
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with the design of a preventative maintenance program as required
• Be able to show flexibility to change the schedule in light of guest priorities
• Carry out general building minor maintenance repairs
• Carry out minor tiling or plumbing as directed
• Carry out any minor repairs to guest rooms or public areas
• Ensure plant rooms are checked and cleaned and are in operating order
• To attend and investigate faults and breakdowns of building services, equipment, installations, appliances, etc.
• A good standard of education
• Fluent in English
• Able to work on his own initiative
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Would ideally have previous experience working in a similar environment and ideally have sound knowledge in guest room maintenance
• Would ideally have wireman’s Licence A as a minimum requirement
