The Sous Chef supports the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene. This role includes supervising kitchen staff, managing food preparation, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring all dishes are executed according to the restaurant’s standards. The Sous Chef also assists with menu development, staff training, and upholding a clean, efficient, and well-organised kitchen environment. In the Head Chef’s absence, the Sous Chef leads the kitchen and ensures smooth service.
