Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards to required dimensions.
Fix drywall panels to metal or wooden framing using screws, nails, or adhesives.
Install suspended gypsum ceilings and partition systems.
Tape, fill, and finish joints between gypsum boards.
Sand surfaces to create a smooth finish ready for painting or decoration.
Repair damaged gypsum boards and replace sections when necessary.
Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow workplace health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Experience in gypsum board or drywall installation.
Knowledge of drywall systems, ceiling installations, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read construction drawings and measurements.
Physical fitness to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
Good attention to detail and teamwork skills.
