Alta Care Laboratoires is an internationally recognised pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, and nutraceutical company with operations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to strengthen our Finance Department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the Company's financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will work closely with colleagues across multiple international entities and contribute to the efficient operation of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger by accurately recording and reconciling all financial transactions.
Process supplier invoices, payments, employee expense claims, and purchase transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare monthly bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and year-end reporting.
Support the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts.
Review financial documentation and contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Assist with statutory audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
Monitor accounts payable activities and provide operational support and cover when required.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial procedures.
Collaborate with internal departments and international offices to resolve accounting matters and improve financial processes.
Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
A minimum of three years' relevant accounting international experience.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
Experience using accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A proactive, professional, and results-oriented approach.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
Previous experience in an international or multinational organisation will be considered advantageous.

Qualifications
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) will be considered an asset.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within an international or multinational organisation.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and general ledger accounting.
Experience in preparing account reconciliations, management accounts, budgets, and financial reports.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative international team.
