Tartarun, a fish restaurant on the waterfront in Marsaxlokk, is looking for a full-time waiter/waitress to join our front-of-house team.

We welcome applicants at any experience level — whether you've worked in restaurants before or this would be your first role in hospitality. What matters most to us is attitude: someone presentable, warm with guests, and genuinely eager to learn. Full training will be provided.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

>Guest service – Greet and seat guests, take food and drink orders accurately, and provide attentive, friendly service throughout the meal.
>Menu knowledge – Learn and confidently explain the menu, including daily fish specials and dietary alternatives, to help guests make informed choices.
>Order handling – Relay orders correctly to the kitchen and bar, ensure timely delivery of food and drinks, and check in with guests during service.
>Table maintenance – Keep tables, service stations, and dining areas clean, organised, and properly set throughout service.
>Team coordination – Work closely with kitchen and bar staff, support colleagues during busy periods, and help maintain smooth service flow across the floor.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential — we're happy to train the right person from scratch.

Maltese Speaking is considered an asset
